We will paint and decorate a mold of a traditional papier-mâché doll, made by a family workshop in Celaya, Guanajuato.
The origin of the cardboard dolls called 'lupitas or peponas' arose as an economical alternative for families who could not buy the expensive porcelain dolls that arrived from Europe at the end of the 19th century, and which had as their target customer the upper class families.
The charming folk dolls that still exist in our time in Mexico.

Cancellation policy. We prepare our workshops carefully and in advance. Once you have made your reservation, your place is guaranteed. Your reservation will not be refunded if you cancel or do not attend. We allow a change of date, provided that it is requested at least 10 days before the workshop. If the workshop is cancelled for any reason that is our responsibility, we will refund the full amount of the reservation.
